Every writer or poet hopes to be recognised and appreciated for their work’s quality. However, one must consistently present and promote their work to receive and keep the world’s attention. The challenge is that most writers lack professional photographs and frequently use outdated or low-quality images. It not only decreases their impact but also negatively influences their mindset and confidence. Unsurprisingly, most writers hate being photographed and say they look stupid in pictures.
Every creative mind deserves an appropriate presentation encouraging audiences and professionals to learn and appreciate their works. I understand the frustration when the actual quality of their creative output is literally “overlooked” due to “unattractive visuals,” which is why I have worked with writers and poets for over 20 years.

How to work with me?
Here's how I work:
First, you tell me about your specific needs and requirements, and I tell you how I can help you and how much it would cost. Please fill out the form below.If you accept my offer, we will schedule a shooting as agreed. To ensure you get the images you want I consult you during shooting, editing, and image processing.Once the images are delivered to you, you can start benefiting from the print and screen-ready photographs of the artwork.Do you work with institutions or individuals only?
I have been working with both institutions and individuals.
Do you only work in Berlin, or can you work in other locations?
I am based in Berlin, but I can offer services Europe-wide. For shootings outside of Berlin, please get in touch at least 3-4 weeks before.
What if I'm unsure about how to pose or what expressions to make during the session?
Don't worry! I will guide you through the posing process and help you showcase your authentic self. We'll work together to explore different poses and expressions that capture your essence as a writer or poet. My goal is to ensure you look confident and natural in the photographs.
Who else will see the photos?
As a professional photographer, my focus is on creating a safe, non-judgmental space for you to express yourself. Your comfort and satisfaction are my top priorities. I treat every client with respect and ensure that your privacy is protected. The final images will be shared only with your permission.
Do you have a services pricelist or day rate?
I do have a day rate however, I usually provide clients a personalized offer for their specific assignment to ensure they receive the best value and the right solution. Please feel free to contact me to discuss your project and how I can assist you.
Do you offer discounts?
While I usually don't provide price discounts, I am open to explore solutions that could work in your favour.
How long will the photo session take, and what happens after the session?
The duration of the photo session will vary depending on your specific needs and requirements. Before the session, we can discuss the estimated time frame to ensure we allocate enough time for capturing beautiful images without rushing. Afterward, we'll carefully select the best photos for editing and discuss any additional requests you may have.
What should I wear or how should I style myself for the photo session?
I understand that wardrobe choices and styling are important aspects of creating a compelling image as a writer or poet. We can discuss wardrobe options that align with your vision and desired outcome. I can provide suggestions on colors, styles, and accessories to enhance your look and create visually appealing photographs.
What copyrights are licensed to the clients, and how can the images be used?
Upon complete payment, I grant unlimited copyrights to the client. All images can be used without ANY limitations (medium, period, territory, etc.) or additional payments. The rights are non-exclusive and non-transferable.
What files does the customer receive?
Customers receive every image as ready-to-use files in TIFF and JPEG formats; the files are fully processed according to museum imaging standards. Additionally, customers also receive unprocessed RAW files for archival and future reference purposes and future re-processing.
Will I have control over the final images? What if I'm not satisfied with them?
Your satisfaction is important to me. Throughout the process, we'll have open communication, and I'll encourage your input and feedback. After the session, I will carefully edit the selected images to ensure they meet your expectations. If there are any specific adjustments or preferences you have, we can discuss them to ensure you're thrilled with the final results. In case that resulting images are absolutely unsatisfying, we can repeat the shooting - without extra charge.
How and when should I pay?
First, we'll decide on what needs to be done and how much it costs. Then, I'll send you an invoice that requires you to pay 50% of the cost upfront before I start working. Once I finish, I'll send another invoice for the remaining 50%. You only own the rights to the work after you pay for everything. If you'd like, I could let you pay in installments with Paypal over the course of up to a year.
Do I have to pay extra if I cancel?
If you cancel the shooting within 48 hours of the scheduled time, I'll charge 50% of the payment we agreed upon. If you reschedule the shooting within 48 hours of the scheduled time, I'll charge 20%.
